Gr8ttek is seeking a Field Technician to provide hardware break/fix support at customer locations. This is a travel-based field role (within a 30 mile radius), not remote or help desk. Technicians travel to client sites to repair and replace computer hardware.Experience with HP, Dell, or Lenovo is required.Pay$40 per completed service call$5 per call per diem(if applicable mileage/drive time paid on a sliding scale)ResponsibilitiesPerform on-site break/fix repairs for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheralsDiagnose hardware issues and replace FRUs (SSD/HDD, RAM, motherboards, power supplies, displays)Travel to assigned customer locationsDocument work performed and parts usedMaintain control and return of parts, tools, and inventoryCommunicate professionally with customersRequirements1 year of hardware break/fix field experienceExperience with HP, Dell, Lenovo, or similarComfortable working independently in the fieldMust own a basic repair tool kitValid driver’s license and reliable transportation
