About The Role

As a BizOps Associate at Grüns, you will apply strategic skills combined with your quantitative abilities and experience in data-driven analysis to drive growth, improve the bottom line, and surface new opportunities. You will work closely with talented, driven leaders across different departments to develop and test new strategies. You will actively influence product design and acquisition strategy to deliver compelling value to the customer while optimizing for the P&L. This role reports directly to Sr. Manager, BizOps.

This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a bi-annual basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.

In this role, you will:

• Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and leverage data in a creative and analytical manner to make strategic or tactical recommendations.
• Involve problem frameworks; develop hypotheses, tests, and analysis to inform solution development; lead implementation efforts; and develop monitoring plans for successful execution of projects.
• Build and navigate data comfortably to solve key business problems, answer ad hoc requests, and report on key metrics for needs both within the Finance team and across the business to key stakeholders.
• Develop & maintain financial models to forecast financial impact of new strategies, opportunities, and risks and measure actual performance against forecasts.
• Perform modeling/analytics to assist new product and pricing strategies.
• Support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts, evaluate new channels, and optimize existing strategies.
• Identify and refine KPI metrics to target to monitor business performance and improvement.
  
  

We're looking for someone who has:

• BS/MS Degree in a quantitative or computational field
• 4 years experience in data analytics in corporate, consulting, or investment banking
• Exceptional communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences, able to influence your partners using clear, concise insights and recommendations through strong data-driven analyses
• High proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
• Expertise with SQL, with R and/or Python knowledge preferred
• Exceptional thought partnership skills, able to own direct relationships with stakeholders and build credibility through clarity and judgment
• Strong statistical skills and intuition for solving problems in both consumer-facing and internal product areas
• Experience with Cloud Computing (Google Cloud) platforms preferred

At Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package—grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is between $120,000-$135,000 depending on experience.
