GRØN LLC is a Minnesota small business in the irrigation industry working out of Princeton that values quality results and exceptional client service for residential and commercial accounts in the northwest metro. Our services are in high demand and we are seeking to expand our team by finding career-oriented workers desiring to apprentice with us and develop a trade-oriented skill set.
We are hiring a Full Time Seasonal Irrigation Technician that can run a punctual maintenance schedule while producing high-quality work. This candidate does not necessarily need industry experience as much as the willingness and interest to be trained and developed into a self-sufficient technician. Pay rate is dependent on experience ranging from $23-$32 / Hour.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Including but not limited to:
- Starting up, installing, maintaining, and winterizing irrigation systems
- Communicate with clients and account managers on details regarding site repairs and materials used
- Use phone for accurate timekeeping and job notes onsite
- Perform quality work with a good attitude that represents GRØN best practices
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Mechanically inclined; Experience with electrical, plumbing, landscaping
- Self-motivated and resilient
- Willingness to learn and take instructions
- Punctual
- Able to work efficiently alone and with a team
- Able to troubleshoot complex electrical and plumbing problems (with training)
- Commitment to quality
- Competent with Computers, Software
- Excellent client service skills
- Communication skills internally and externally
- Current and valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Ability to notate accurate timesheets, onsite notes, recordkeeping and invoicing
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work in adverse weather conditions - wind, rain, heat, cold etc.
- Bending, lifting, carrying heavy tools and materials
- Standing and sitting for long periods of time
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Experience in the irrigation/lawn/landscape industry
- Ability to maintain a truck and tools and keep them clean and organized
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines as it pertains to tools and transportation
- Career oriented - seeking growth and development
- DOT health card
- Commute to Princeton until self-sufficient and running an independent service truck
