Job Description
- Our Shift Managers perform the essential front-line management for the movie theater and assist the general manager in duties including guest services, team member coaching and training, cash management and general support of theater operations.
Cross-training in Cast Member duties, facility opening and closing routines and procedures, cash management, and team member management is provided to all Shift Manager.
Generally, work tasks will include:
- Providing oversight of the operation, cleanliness, and performance of the theater
- Overseeing deposits and money handling initiatives
- Opening and closing the theater for the start or end of a business day
- Providing an excellent guest experience by proactively and reactively addressing guest concerns
- Managing team members to ensure essential tasks are completed and guests receive exceptional service
- Troubleshooting issues and communicating with leadership to improve the theater
- Serve as a liaison with the GM to the corporate office in coordinating marketing and sales activities
- Working collaboratively with the team
Qualifications / Expectations
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have availability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must commit to showing up to work on time when scheduled
- Must have a positive team-focused attitude and be willing to learn
- 1 year of management or leadership experience
