About the Role
This is a highly visible opportunity for a Senior Compensation Consultant to take ownership of both Sales Compensation and International Compensation programs. The role will serve as a strategic compensation partner to the company’s Specialty Insurance business, supporting approximately 3,000 employees across 400 job profiles. This individual will work closely with business leaders and executive stakeholders to provide compensation guidance, develop solutions, and support business needs across multiple markets. The position offers the opportunity to independently manage complex compensation programs while also helping shape processes and best practices within a growing function. The organization is a heavy Workday user, making strong system knowledge particularly important to the role. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is comfortable working in an evolving environment and enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and operating as a true internal consultant.

4 days onsite, 1 day remote in Charlotte, NC.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage sales compensation programs supporting the Specialty Insurance business.
- Provide compensation support across international markets spanning more than 10 countries.
- Serve as the primary compensation advisor for assigned business units and partner closely with senior business leaders.
- Consult with executive stakeholders on compensation strategy, program design, and business-specific needs.
- Lead compensation initiatives from initial planning and analysis through implementation and execution.
- Use Workday extensively to support compensation programs, data, and ongoing program development.
- Build strong relationships across the organization and help establish scalable compensation practices.
- Contribute to future international Workday expansion initiatives, including planned UK and Canadian implementations.
- Balance multiple priorities while operating with a high degree of independence and sound judgment.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of progressive compensation experience, ideally with experience owning complex programs.
- Strong experience with Workday and comfort working in a highly system-driven compensation environment.
- Background in sales compensation.
- Exposure to international or global compensation programs is highly valued.
- Experience consulting with senior business leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and consulting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where processes and priorities may continue to evolve.
- A proactive, resourceful approach with the ability to create structure and develop solutions independently.
- Experience in insurance brokerage, specialty insurance, or a related industry is highly preferred.
- Experience working on a lean compensation team or helping build processes from the ground up is a plus.
