Position Overview
GQR has partnered with an emerging biotech company seeking a high-performing Sales Specialist to drive growth within a cardio biotechnology organization.
This individual will be responsible for developing strategic healthcare provider relationships, identifying appropriate patients, supporting access and reimbursement processes, and expanding product adoption throughout an assigned territory.
The ideal candidate combines strong sales execution with clinical credibility and thrives in environments where patient identification, account management, and cross-functional collaboration are critical to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute territory business plans to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
- Build relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, office staff, and key healthcare stakeholders.
- Educate customers on disease state awareness, clinical data, treatment pathways, and product benefits.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient recognition, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop strategic account plans to drive territory growth and market penetration.
- Collaborate with market access, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, patient services, and medical teams to support patient access.
- Engage key opinion leaders and influential healthcare providers within assigned accounts.
- Deliver educational programs through individual meetings, group presentations, and virtual engagements.
- Maintain territory insights, account plans, CRM activity, and business reporting.
- Operate in compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sales experience.
- Demonstrated record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong territory management and strategic account planning skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Preferred:
- Specialty pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or rare disease sales experience.
- Rheumatology, immunology, rare disease, cardiology, or specialty care experience.
- Experience selling biologics, injectables, specialty therapies, or buy-and-bill products.
- Knowledge of reimbursement, HUB services, specialty pharmacy, and patient access programs.
- Launch experience and/or proven success growing market share in emerging markets.
