MRI Technologist – Magnetic Resonance Imaging (No Radiation)

Overview:

MRI technologists use advanced magnetic fields and radio frequencies to image the brain, spinal cord, nerves, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. MRIs provide superior soft tissue contrast compared to CT scans and are preferred for diagnosing conditions such as brain tumors, infections, strokes, Alzheimer’s, and dementia.

Patient Load / Shifts:

• Shift: 3x12 rotating weeks

Equipment:

• GE MRI scanners

Requirements / Education / Certifications:

• Minimum 2 years MRI experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• ARRT (R) and (MR) required
• IV certification ideal

Schedule / On-call / Other Info:

• Days, 7–8 AM start
• Pay scale: $54.56/hr ($99,292) – $70.10/hr ($127,575)
