The Finance & Growth team at GQR is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to support the continued growth and scalability of the organization. Reporting directly to the Controller, this individual will oversee core accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, audit support, and team leadership across both domestic and offshore accounting functions.
The Opportunity:
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across financial reporting
- Review journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintain the integrity of the general ledger
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for leadership and external stakeholders
- Partner with external auditors and support audit readiness, compliance initiatives, and tax reporting
- Analyze margins and financial variances across multiple legal entities
- Manage and mentor accounting team members while helping improve systems, processes, and operational scalability
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal leadership and external partners to support business objectives
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience including leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles
- Experience leading month-end and year-end close processes within a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working within ERP/CRM systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, or Bullhorn
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Experience within a high-growth and/or private equity-backed environment preferred
