Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Field Technician with strong Fire Alarm and Access Control experience. You’ll install, service, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems in commercial settings across Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Install and service fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and network cabling systems
- Terminate and test copper and fiber cabling
- Mount, wire, and program field devices (panels, card readers, mag locks, etc.)
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Ensure code-compliant installations (NFPA, NEC, Florida Building Code)
- Communicate clearly with clients and project managers
Requirements:
- 2 years of low-voltage field experience
- Fire alarm and access control knowledge required
- FASA/BASA certification (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10/30 a plus
