We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Burger King Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead a team of staff members. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and efficient food preparation
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Oversee food safety procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Handle cash management, POS transactions (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and financial reporting
- Train, develop, and evaluate team members to improve performance and ensure proper food handling techniques
- Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing needs, and oversee shift management
- Assist with hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Support marketing initiatives and promote brand standards within the restaurant
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant management, preferably in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams and staff training & development
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety standards, and inventory control
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Ability to manage shift operations efficiently in a high-volume setting
- Experience with budgeting, food management, and restaurant operations is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills for interviewing, training staff, and team management
- Hospitality management or culinary experience is a plus but not required
