GPR TRANSPORT HAULING AND TOW LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support and manage daily logistics, hauling, and towing operations. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating transportation schedules, tracking loads, communicating with drivers and customers, and ensuring efficient, safe, and timely movement of equipment and freight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule hauling and towing services, drivers, and equipment.
- Track shipments, tows, and deliveries to ensure on-time completion.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, dispatch, and internal teams regarding job details and status updates.
- Prepare and maintain logistics and transportation documentation, including work orders, bills of lading, and service records.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, or operational issues promptly.
- Assist with route planning and job assignments to maximize efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records in dispatch or logistics management systems.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Support operations management with reports, logs, and performance data.
- Coordinate with maintenance and yard teams to ensure equipment availability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, or business preferred.
- Previous experience in logistics coordination, dispatch, transportation, or towing operations is a plus.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and logistics or dispatch systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
