What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Officers position at GPI Defense?
GPI Defense is seeking dependable security officers for a Loss Prevention site in Austin, Texas.
Officers will be following a very strict set of post orders including a no-touch-no-chase policy.
Assignment Schedule: up to 35 hours a week
Thursdays: 4pm-10pm
Fridays: 4pm-10pm
Saturdays: 4pm-10pm
Sundays: 4pm-9pm
Tuesdays: 4pm-10pm
Wednesdays: 4pm-10pm
Responsibilities
- Watch for unauthorized removal of merchandise or property
- Document and report incidents
- Maintain a professional and attentive presence
- Lookout for BOLO's
- Maintain communication with Dispatch and onsite Management
Requirements
- Valid Texas security license
- Reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Strong communication skills and customer service
- Dependability and punctuality
- Ability to work the assigned dates and hours
- Ability to follow established site procedures
