Role Qualifications
- Education:
- Associate’s degree (AAS) or Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Surveying and Mapping or Geomatics.
- Equivalent experience with AAS degree – associate’s degree and 2-5 years of experience in computer aided drafting and/or in civil/survey drafting work.
- Experience in many aspects of surveying: boundary analysis and research; title report review; reduction, review and mapping of data for topographic surveys; writing legal descriptions
- Knowledge of point cloud software and processes a plus.
- Firm understanding of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment, working with individuals from various offices and in various disciplines.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and the ability to multi-task between several projects and priorities at one time.
- Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Creation of easement exhibits and legal descriptions
- Research and analysis of parcel and right of way boundaries
- Responsible for creating and revising drawings depicting existing conditions for various engineering projects in CAD platforms.
- Coordinating with technical personnel to gather and record data for design projects.
- Communication and coordination with multi-disciplinary groups.
