This role is ideal for engineers with hands-on experience ready to take ownership of project tasks and deepen their expertise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- 3-6 years of experience.
- Pursuit of or have passed Professional Engineering (PE) exam a plus.
- Experience working with PLS CADD and AutoCAD.
- Experience analyzing tower structures (pole, lattice, guyed).
- Practiced ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations (NESC, AXCE, IEEE).
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, with effective problem-solving abilities and consistent attention to detail.
- Reliable and team-oriented, with demonstrated experience collaborating across disciplines to support project execution.
- Clear and professional communicator with demonstrated ability to convey technical information across teams and disciplines.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Execute the design of high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
- Implement client standards and applicable design codes and specification related to design requirements.
- Coordinate drawing development and CAD-based design tasks.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing while continuing to grow technical expertise.
- Accountable for the quality of your deliverables and for supporting peer reviews to uphold team standards.
- Engage with clients to clarify technical requirements, contribute to project updates, and ensure alignment with expectations.
- Execute project tasks independently within established scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
- Participate in occasional site walks for current projects. Less than 5% travel.
