Role Summary
Execute complex transmission line designs, work hands-on with advanced software, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver results that matter. You’ll work with experienced engineering mentors to apply technical standards and contribute to project delivery. This role is ideal for engineers with hands-on experience ready to take ownership of project tasks and deepen their expertise.
Qualifications
Execute the design of distribution (<600v to 35 kV) systems using design software. Implement client standards and applicable design codes and specifications related to design requirements. Coordinate drawing development and CAD-based design tasks. Collaborate with experienced engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing while continuing to grow technical expertise. Accountable for the quality of your deliverables and for supporting peer reviews to uphold team standards. Engage with clients to clarify technical requirements, contribute to project updates, and ensure alignment with expectations. Execute project tasks independently within established scope, schedule, and budget parameters. Participate in occasional site walks for current projects. Less than 5% travel.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
- 3-6 years of experience
- Pursuit of or have passed Professional Engineering (PE) Exam a plus
- Experience working with AutoCAD. Specific experience with Civil 3D and/or Line Design Softwares such as O-calc, SPIDAcalc, or DDS is a plus.
- Experience designing electrical distribution physical structures, routing, equipment specifications, and wiring.
- Practiced ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations (NESC, ASCE, IEEE).
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, with effective problem-solving abilities and consistent attention to detail.
- Reliable and team-oriented, with demonstrated experience collaborating across disciplines to support project execution.
- Clear and professional communicator with demonstrated ability to convey technical information across teams and disciplines.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
