Role Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Associate degree in Survey/Civil Engineering Technology a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Survey industry, primarily in the field.
- Ability to work independently in the field and interested in training on survey basemapping.
- Experience with Laser Scanning and UAS technologies is a plus.
- Ability to work 8-10 hours outdoors under various field conditions with exposure to heat, cold, and other possible adverse conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. of equipment from the work truck to the site for surveying use.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
- Thrives in a collaborative project environment and enjoys all forms of communication while working with clients and team members (virtual, in-person, phone).
- Daily local travel with occasional overnight stays required.
- Valid driver's license required
- Field work in our Survey group provides the opportunity to interact with multiple stakeholders and in a wide variety of services that encompass our discipline: this includes all practices/market sectors that GPD services.
- Utilizing our newer Survey technology equipment to execute strategic actions aligned with both Survey and GPD Group goals: GPD is looking for a go-getter who is passionate about driving results for the company and working on a collaborative Survey team to support field efforts. You will coordinate with professional surveyors and project teams to complete the project scope and schedule on time and within GPD’s quality standards.
