What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist or Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant- Full Time position at GPCH?
Golden Plains Community Hospital is currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapist or Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. The PT is responsible for supporting the mission of the facility by providing accessible, cost-effective, quality rehabilitative therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients in an inpatient and outpatient. He/she will promote teamwork with personnel, physicians, and other departments.
- Sign-on bonus of $10,000
- Relocation package up to $20,000
- Student loan forgiveness up to $1500 paid directly to the vendor
- Housing allowance of $1500 for up to one year
Golden Plains Community Hospital is located in the Texas Panhandle with access (a 5-hour or less travel time) to Snow Skiing, Palo Duro Canyon, Air Balloon Festivals, Amusement Parks, Casinos, and many, many other attractions.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorine f Science Degree in Physical Therapy or LPTA.
- Licensed by the State of Texas.
- Must be able to provide direct and supervised patient care.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform the technical skills and critical thinking outlined in the performance standards
- Must be able to pass the required exams successfully.
- Knowledge of the principles of physical therapy across the life span, to assess age-specific needs of children, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients, and to provide them with appropriate care.
- Must be familiar with the standards of care regarding inpatients and outpatients.
