What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist- Full Time position at GPCH?
Golden Plains Community Hospital is currently seeking a full time Occupational Therapist. The OT will be responsible for supporting the mission of the facility, by providing accessible, cost effective, quality rehabilitative therapy to children, adolescents, adults and elderly patients. She/he will promote teamwork with personnel, physicians and other departments. Experience with hands on in patient, out patients and geropsych/psychosocial groups.
- Sign on bonus of $10,000
- Relocation package up to $20,000
- Student loan forgiveness and housing allowance.
Qualifications for this position are:

Bachelor or Masters of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Licensed by the State of Texas.

CPR

Must be able to provide direct and supervised patient care.

Demonstrates the ability to perform the technical skills and critical thinking outlined in the performance standards.

Must be able to successfully pass required exams.

Knowledge of the principles of Occupational therapy across the life span, to assess age specific needs of children, adolescents, adult, and elderly patients to provide them with appropriate care.

Must be familiar with the standards of care regarding inpatients and outpatients
