This is a hands-on opportunity for welders who take pride in precise fit-up, clean welds, and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Fit, align, and fabricate components to specification.
- Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect completed welds and perform grinding, finishing, and rework as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.
- 3 years of TIG welding experience, along with MIG and sheet metal fabrication experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently from drawings.
- Strong attention to weld quality, fit-up, and dimensional accuracy.
- Ability to complete a practical weld test.
- AWS certifications preferred.
