Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage transportation projects from concept through construction
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationships and communication
- Prepare and review proposals, contracts, and project scopes
- Coordinate across internal disciplines (traffic, structures, drainage, surveying, planning, environmental, etc.)
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff
- Ensure quality control and adherence to DOT and regulatory standards
- Support business development efforts and identify new opportunities with public agencies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or the ability to obtain it in 6 months
- 5 years of experience in transportation / civil engineering
- Proven experience managing projects, teams, and client relationships
- Strong understanding of roadway design, drainage, traffic, and utilities
- Experience with DOT and local agency standards, plan development, and project delivery
- Experience with budgeting, proposals, and project financials
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads, and related design tools
- Strong communication and leadership skills
