Tax Manager
- CPA (or nearly complete) required
- M.S. in Taxation preferred
- 15 years of experience in public accounting
- Strong background in business, partnership, and individual tax
- Ability to prepare and review complex returns
- Some experience assisting clients with financial statements
- Consistent and reliable work ethic during tax season (~55 hrs./week)
- Collaborative, steady, and personable demeanor - "no ego" team player
- Leadership potential and genuine interest in firm ownership
- Location: Farmington, CT (Onsite)
- Size: 3 partners (1 PT), 7 accountants, 3 support staff
- Focus: Closely held businesses, partnerships, and individual tax work
- Software: QuickBooks, Ultra Tax, ProSystem FX, CCH
- Environment: Collaborative, transparent, and flexible: "we all pitch in and treat each other fairly"
- $140K-$175K base, negotiable higher for the right person (up to $200k)

Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
