System Administrator

Seeking a hands-on System Administrator to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-availability IT systems in a manufacturing environment. Responsible for infrastructure, security, compliance, and user support to ensure uptime, data integrity, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities (keywords: VMware, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, backups, endpoint security, disaster recovery, audits)

• Plan, deploy, and maintain servers, virtualization (VMware), storage, networking, and telecom systems.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, backup solutions, and endpoint security (SentinelOne preferred).
• Maintain change control, system logs, evidence, and documentation to ensure audit readiness and compliance (SSPs, policies).
• Support user access reviews, SoD, access control, authentication/authorization, and periodic audits.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats; partner with corporate info security and auditors.
• Design, test, and maintain systems supporting manufacturing operations and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage IT assets, vendor relationships, upgrades, and system architecture documentation.
• Improve IT helpdesk performance and user experience; provide end-user training and technical guidance.
• Maintain data classification, encryption, secure handling procedures, and compliance documentation.
  
  

Qualifications (keywords: SentinelOne, Arctic Wolf, Mimecast, Varonis, Cisco Duo, Epicor, networking)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related, or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing IT.
• Proven experience in system administration, networking, hardware/software support, and virtualization (VMware).
• Experience with SentinelOne, Arctic Wolf, Mimecast, Varonis, Cisco Duo, and Epicor is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to train users and coordinate with leadership and auditors.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to security and compliance.
