Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across fabrication shop and field erection crews
- Manage production schedules, project timelines, and overall job execution
- Drive profitability through cost control, labor efficiency, and resource planning
- Lead and develop shop, field, and project management teams
- Ensure safety compliance across all operations (shop and field)
- Work closely with estimating, project management, and clients to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor KPIs, budgets, and overall company performance
- Maintain quality standards and ensure projects meet specifications
- 5 years of experience as a General Manager in steel fabrication and/or erection
- Strong background in structural steel operations (shop and field)
- Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and multiple projects
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and P&L responsibility
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance
- Leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability and results
