Responsibilities
- Design and layout fire sprinkler systems
- Prepare detailed drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material lists
- Ensure designs meet NFPA standards, local codes, and project requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and field teams
- Process revisions, submittals, and permitting documentation
- Support project schedules through accurate and timely design work
- 3-10 years of fire sprinkler design or fire protection experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and relevant building/fire regulations
- Experience with HydraCAD, AutoSPRINK, AutoCAD, or similar software
- Ability to perform hydraulic calculations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- NICET certification
