Senior Estimator

Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Estimator to join a well-established commercial restoration and construction firm that has been serving Texas for 15 years. This company has built a respected reputation across the DFW and greater Texas market for delivering exceptional commercial restoration projects.

This position is ideal for a seasoned Estimator (10-20 years of experience) who brings a strong local DFW book of business, a proven track record of large commercial projects, and the ability to both estimate and oversee an estimator department. You'll work on-site in Weatherford, TX, and play a key leadership role in commercial restoration estimating, profitability, department structure, and overall project success.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, accurate estimates for commercial restoration projects, including large-loss work.
• Oversee and lead the estimator department - set standards, processes, and performance expectations.
• Review and evaluate project lists, cost structures, and scopes on major commercial jobs (especially within DFW).
• Collaborate closely with project managers, field teams, clients, and insurance representatives.
• Evaluate profit margins, ROI, and financial performance.
• Support business development with your local DFW relationships and network.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and client interaction across all commercial projects.
• Work on-site in the Weatherford office.
  
  

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in estimating within commercial restoration, construction, or related fields.
• Strong estimating background with a proven project list - including large commercial jobs in the DFW area.
• GC experience highly preferred.\
• Ability to oversee and develop an estimator department.
• Strong understanding of commercial reconstruction costing, scoping, and project financials.
• Local DFW presence and network; candidates with national estimating experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Must be proactive, dependable, and capable of working independently without micromanagement.
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and professionalism.
