Senior Estimator Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Proven experience estimating ground-up commercial construction projects
- Diverse commercial project experience across multiple sectors preferred
- Strong ability to develop accurate estimates, budgets, scopes, and bid proposals
- Thorough understanding of subcontractor scopes, material costs, labor, pricing, and project margins
- Experience soliciting, reviewing, leveling, and negotiating subcontractor and vendor bids
- Ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
- Experience evaluating change orders, project costs, and potential cost impacts
- Strong understanding of project profitability and ability to contribute to accurate cost projections
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred, but not required
