Responsibilities
- Create a strategic business plan to restructure a brokerage and or a sales department including sales goals, projections, and timelines
- Design and develop a customer and carrier sales team structure
- Acquire new customers through customer-focused selling
- Develop carrier sales techniques focused on capacity management and rate negotiations
- Manage all levels of brokerage business development, account management, and operations
- 10 years of transportation experience
- 7 years of brokerage industry experience
- Entrepreneurial and sales mindset
- Ability to close and manage large account business
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Bachelor's degree Required
