Key Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger activities, month-end and year-end close, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage accounting activities across investment portfolios and multiple entities.
- Monitor investment performance, capital activity, asset valuations, and cash flow.
- Lead multi-entity consolidations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Develop and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with executive leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
- Mentor accounting team members and support ongoing development.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry.
- Experience as a Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller preferred.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and complex accounting principles.
- Experience managing multiple entities and consolidations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
