Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development in freight forwarding and logistics services
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across import/export verticals
- Identify and pursue opportunities in cross-border and customs brokerage markets
- Collaborate with operations to deliver seamless customer service
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to strategic planning
- Minimum 5 years' experience in sales within an international freight forwarding environment
- Entry writing experience a plus/working knowledge preferred
- Strong understanding of customs brokerage, import/export regulations, and compliance-REQUIRED
- Experience with cross-border logistics (Canada/Mexico or international preferred)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive sales approach
- Existing portfolio of customer relationships preferred
- Multilingual abilities a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, etc.)
- Familiarity with CRM and logistics software platforms
