Project Manager - Earthwork
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of earthwork and site development projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Lead estimating efforts using Agtek and other tools to prepare accurate takeoffs, bids, and cost models.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial reporting to ensure successful delivery.
- Oversee field operations, subcontractor coordination, and equipment management on large-scale projects.
- Collaborate with owners, engineers, and municipalities to address scope, permitting, and design issues.
- Prepare and process RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and progress reports.
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff and project engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent field experience.
- 5 years of project management experience in earthwork, excavation, or heavy civil construction.
- Strong background in estimating and project financial management.
- Proficiency with Agtek (preferred), as well as Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training (preferred).
