Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Strategy
- Provide executive oversight for large-scale healthcare capital programs, including hospitals, ambulatory facilities, and campus expansions
- Partner with internal leadership, healthcare clients, and financial stakeholders to define program strategy, scope, and delivery approach
- Establish governance structures, communication protocols, and performance expectations across project teams
- Support master planning and early-stage development strategy
- Lead development of comprehensive project budgets, including construction, soft costs, and equipment planning
- Provide input during programming and conceptual design to align scope, schedule, and budget
- Oversee design teams and ensure coordination across disciplines
- Lead value analysis and cost management efforts
- Guide contractor and consultant selection processes
- Ensure constructability, scope alignment, and schedule integrity
- Monitor overall program performance, including budget, schedule, and risk
- Oversee third-party general contractors and project teams
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations
- Interface with financial partners on funding processes and reporting
- Oversee project close-out, commissioning, and transition to operations
- Ensure completion of all documentation and post-project evaluations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare executives, partners, and project stakeholders
- Present program updates and strategic insights to executive and board-level audiences
- Support business development and long-term client engagement efforts
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 15 years of leadership experience in healthcare capital project delivery, program management, or construction
- Experience leading large, complex healthcare projects, including hospitals and/or major campus developments
- Proven experience managing the full project lifecycle from planning through construction and occupancy
- Experience overseeing third-party contractors in a program management or owner's representative capacity
- Strong understanding of healthcare facility requirements, regulatory standards, and building systems (MEP, life safety, infection control, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience working with executive stakeholders and leadership teams
- Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or related field)
- Experience with alternative delivery methods (CM at Risk, Design-Build)
- Exposure to complex financing structures (P3, structured finance, or similar environments)
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, capital planning, and performance tracking
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead and align cross-functional teams across multiple stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect project delivery to broader business objectives
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in complex environments
- Relationship-driven leadership style with a focus on collaboration and trust
- Flexible base location within the U.S. (preference for major regional hubs)
- Travel required to project sites and stakeholder meetings

Salary : $180,000 - $225,000
