Core Responsibilities
- Oversee 1st shift operations for the Case Ready department, driving production efficiency, quality control, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with plant cross-functional leadership, including Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Sanitation, Finance, and HR.
- Train a production team, fostering a continuous improvement culture utilizing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Monitor processing control points, equipment performance, and workflow optimization to hit plant manufacturing goals and schedules.
- Enforce strict compliance with USDA, HACCP, OSHA, and corporate safety/quality standards.
- Experience: 2-3 years of leadership in food plant operations as a Production Supervisor or Lead.
- Industry Focus: Must have direct hands-on experience in high-volume food processing.
- Regulatory Compliance: Deep working knowledge of USDA, HACCP, and OSHA guidelines.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of team leadership, decision-making, and driving operational excellence.
