What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, referral partners, and community organizations
- Originate residential mortgage loans with a focus on first-time homebuyers and low-to-moderate income borrowers
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of mortgage business throughout Fairfield County
- Provide excellent customer service and guidance throughout the lending process
- Cross-sell bank products and services when appropriate
- Maintain compliance with all lending regulations and internal policies
- Partner closely with underwriting and operations teams to ensure a smooth and efficient loan process
- 3 years of mortgage lending experience preferred
- Proven track record of producing $10mm annually
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills
- Existing clientele and referral network within Fairfield County required
- Experience working with first-time homebuyers and low-to-moderate income borrowers is highly desired
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Interest rates well below market averages
