Litigation Associate (1-3 years) - Rocky Hill, CT (Hybrid)
I'm working with a collaborative, forward-thinking law firm seeking a Litigation Associate with 1 to 3 years of experience to join its Rocky Hill, CT office. This full-time hybrid role is a great opportunity for a junior attorney to build strong litigation skills. Compensation is $100,000 to $130,000 annually.

What You'll Do
- Assist with all phases of defense litigation, including discovery, motion practice and trial preparation
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive reports and analyses
- Participate in court conferences, depositions and hearings
- Manage deadlines in line with client guidelines
- Maintain accurate time and billing records
- 1 to 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting
- Admission to practice in Connecticut; NY, NJ or PA bar admissions a plus
- Strong legal writing, research, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines consistently
- Insurance defense, professional liability, product liability, federal court or appellate experience a plus, but not required
