Responsibilities
- Manage case files from intake through resolution.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other case-related correspondence.
- Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and other appointments.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
- Request, organize, review, and summarize medical records and medical bills.
- Assist attorneys with case preparation and ongoing case management.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all deadlines are met.
- 3-5 years of legal assistant experience, preferably in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Florida E-Filing procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience handling medical records and billing documentation preferred.
- Salary: $50,000 - $65,000, based on experience.
