Land Development - Project Manager

I'm representing a well-established civil engineering and consulting firm that provides comprehensive site development, utilities, transportation, and environmental services. They are seeking a talented Land Development Project Manager (PE) to lead and oversee land development projects from concept through construction completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of land development projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction coordination.
• Oversee site grading, roadway and utility design, stormwater management, and erosion control plans.
• Lead project teams and coordinate with municipalities, utility providers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, proposals, and scopes of work.
• Review technical plans and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Participate in business development activities, including responding to RFPs and contributing to proposals.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one.
• 5 years of experience in land development design and project management.
• Strong background in site layout, utilities, grading, drainage, and permitting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with stormwater modeling tools.
• Proven ability to lead project teams, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong client-service mindset.
