Responsibilities
As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will:
- Manage a caseload of 30-40 active matters
- Litigate cases from inception through resolution, including trial and mediation
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations to clients
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
- Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and coordinate with experts
- Work closely with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to deliver results
The ideal Insurance Defense Attorney will have:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active law license in good standing
- 3 years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills
- Ability to manage a busy docket independently while collaborating with colleagues
