Position: Insurance Defense Attorney
Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Handle a range of cases in general liability and premises liability.
- Provide strong legal representation for clients, effectively managing cases from inception to resolution.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys, leveraging your legal knowledge to contribute to successful case outcomes.
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and appear in court as necessary.
- Analyze case law, prepare briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to practice law in Tennessee
- 3 years of experience in insurance defense, focusing on general liability and/or premises liability.
- Experience in New York Labor Law is a plus, but candidates with strong general liability/premises liability experience will be considered.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
