Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses
- Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court appearances
- Communicate directly with clients, carriers, experts, and opposing counsel
- Develop litigation strategy and evaluate case exposure
- Maintain case deadlines and manage an active caseload
- Active California Bar license
- 3 years of litigation experience
- Insurance defense experience preferred
- Experience handling depositions and court appearances
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage files independently and work effectively as part of a team
