What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Coverage Attorney position at gpac?
If your current role is dominated by high-volume file review, recycled templates, or minimal strategic input, this opportunity offers a more substantive and sustainable practice.
My client is expanding its insurance coverage group and is seeking an attorney who wants meaningful involvement in coverage analysis, counseling, and related litigation, with the autonomy to exercise judgment and build credibility with clients. This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking through complex policy issues-not just checking boxes.
The practice advises both carriers and insureds on coverage matters involving CGL, property, professional liability, construction defect, and specialty lines. You'll draft coverage opinions, reservations of rights, and denial letters, handle declaratory judgment actions, and collaborate closely with claims professionals and in-house legal teams on strategy and risk evaluation.
This is not a volume-driven environment. Attorneys are trusted to manage their matters, communicate directly with clients, and deliver clear, business-oriented guidance.
What You'll Be Doing
