About The Role

What You'll Do
- Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, air handlers, boilers, and associated controls
- Support installation and retrofit projects as needed
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and execute repairs
- Respond to service calls, including emergency support, with professionalism and urgency
- Collaborate with project and service teams to ensure quality and timely completion of work
- Complete accurate documentation of service activities, parts usage, and time reporting
- Contribute to a strong safety culture by following protocols and reporting hazards
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician in commercial/industrial environments
- EPA certification (Type I/II/III) and relevant technical certifications preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, and HVAC controls
- Comfortable with service documentation and basic digital tools
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites in the Madison area
- Union affiliation or interest in joining a union is required
