Position Responsibilities
- Knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
- Ability to multi-task, self-motivate, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Review project plans and specifications to understand project scope and requirements
- Develop cost estimates based on scope of work, including materials, labor, and equipment
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements
- Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing and availability information
- Prepare and submit bid proposals with detailed cost breakdowns and project timelines
- 2-5 years of experience in HVAC estimating preferred
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word and Excel
- Proven ability to work efficiently with clients and co-workers in a professional setting
