What does it take to be qualified?
- Active Funeral Director & Embalmer license (or ability to reciprocate)
- 2 years of funeral directing experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation
- A team‑focused mindset with a genuine commitment to caring for families
- Manage funeral arrangements, services, embalmings, casketing/cosmetizing, and removals as needed
- Meet with families to coordinate funeral, cremation, and cemetery services with professionalism and care
- Assist families with product and service selections and finalize arrangements
- Prepare and oversee visitations, funerals, and memorial services
- Complete all administrative and regulatory documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain licensure and certifications in compliance with state and industry requirements
- Assist with crematory operations, including preparation and transfer of cremated remains
- Support day‑to‑day operations as needed
