Key Responsibilities
- Design fire sprinkler systems, including layout, hydraulic calculations, and equipment selection
- Prepare drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD/BIM software
- Ensure designs comply with NFPA standards, local building codes, and client specifications
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams
- Prepare submittals, specifications, and project documentation
- Support project management with estimates, schedules, and design updates
- 3-5 years of fire sprinkler design experience (NICET certification preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or equivalent design software
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and building codes
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
- NICET Fire Protection Certification (Level II or higher) preferred
