Overview: As the Feed Mill Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our operations, ensuring profitability, efficient and high-quality feed production, exceptional customer service, and effective staffing. Feed Mill Manager Primary Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure feed quality and adherence to legal standards.
- Contribute to the development and execution of plans to expand our Non-GMO and Organic feed business.
- Maintain accurate billing, inventory, and cash procedures.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, with a focus on safety and credit protocols.
- Monitor inventory for quality and maintain an optimal supply.
- Efficiently schedule staff for feed manufacturing and delivery, managing overtime and labor costs.
- Collaborate with other feed locations to enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Oversee grain operations at the Athens location, documenting all grain transitions.
- Actively promote additional sales and refer leads to the sales staff.
- Report any safety concerns promptly to the VP of Feed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and ensure a clean and inviting workplace.
- Assist in convincing key prospects about the benefits of the company and Feed Division.
- Preferably, possess 3 years of management experience or relevant field expertise.
- Effective communication skills with both staff and customers.
- Ability to learn and operate business-related systems.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
