A fast-growing law firm is currently seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and passionate about handling family law cases for their clients. The law firm specializes in various family matters, such as alimony, divorce, child custody, domestic violence, post-judgment modifications, and business valuations.
The Family Law Paralegal's primary responsibility will be to manage family law matters from the beginning to the end. This includes drafting pleadings, electronic filing of court documents, preparing and responding to discovery requests, assisting with trial preparations, ensuring deadlines and calendars are maintained, communicating with clients, and displaying a positive attitude to help clients through challenging times.
Responsibilities :
- Drafting pleadings
- Preparing discovery
- Filing documents with the court
- Preparing trial exhibits
- Other paralegal responsibilities as required
