Key Responsibilities
- Courtroom Advocacy: Represent clients effectively in hearings, trials, mediations, and oral arguments with enthusiasm and strong oral advocacy skills.
- Legal Research & Writing: Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, legal briefs, settlement agreements, and court correspondence with high precision.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain frequent, compassionate, and professional interaction with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and judges.
- Case Management: Oversee family law cases from initial consultation through final resolution, ensuring all deadlines and court rules are met meticulously.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, paralegals, and administrative staff to build solid cases and maintain a positive firm culture.
- Bar Admission: Active license to practice law in the State of Idaho in good standing (Required).
- Experience: 2 years of experience in family law or litigation is preferred
- Litigation Passion: A strong desire to litigate and represent clients actively in court.
- Research & Writing: Superior legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding social skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients while working effectively with court personnel and opposing counsel.
- Base Salary: $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience (DOE).
