Job Responsibilities
- Assist supervising attorneys with management of family law cases
- Draft letters, pleadings, financial disclosures, mediation briefs, and trial briefs
- Propound and respond to discovery; prepare meet and confer letters and motions to compel
- Prepare deposition outlines, exhibits, and witness questions
- Take and defend depositions
- Conduct legal research and prepare memorandums
- Prepare for and attend ex parte hearings, RFO hearings, and trials
- Maintain routine client contact and track billable time
- Admitted and in good standing with the California Bar
- 1-5 years of family law experience
- Strong analytical, writing, and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail with accurate work product
- Highly motivated, collaborative, and team-oriented
