Sign Installer Qualifications
- 3 years of hands-on experience installing and/or servicing commercial signage.
- Experience installing internally illuminated channel letters, cabinet signs, building signs, and pole signage.
- Proficiency with interior signage packages, routed letters, vinyl applications, monuments, pylons, and directional signage.
- Ability to operate installation equipment, including backhoes and augers, and work safely at heights.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, complete installations, and perform signage maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple installation and maintenance projects.
- Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Must be willing to travel extensively, including overnight and out-of-town assignments, with travel potentially reaching 100%.
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record required. A Class B CDL with air brake endorsement is required for applicable positions.
- OSHA 10/30, crane certification, welding certification, CPR certification, CDL, and applicable state licenses are highly valued.
- Competitive hourly compensation of $25-$60, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
