What You'll Do
- Prepare estimates for commercial construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
- Solicit pricing from subcontractors and vendors
- Review and compare subcontractor bids for accuracy and scope coverage
- Assist with conceptual budgets, hard bids, negotiated work, and value engineering
- Work closely with project managers, superintendents, owners, architects, and trade partners
- Help support a smooth handoff from estimating to operations
- 3 years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Experience with ground-up commercial projects, renovations, or tenant improvements
- Ability to read and understand plans, specs, scopes, and bid documents
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Good communication skills with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Experience with estimating software, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar platforms is a plus
